associrubot

Associations is a text-based word association game bot. The bot sends you a word, and you reply with the first association that comes to mind. All your answers are stored so the system can gradually adapt to your style of thinking and refine the word selection.

Gameplay and commands

The bot works both in private chats and in groups. In group chats, multiple users can play together, reacting to the same prompts and suggesting new words via the /say command. If a word is irrelevant or too hard, /skip lets you move on to the next one.

When a word is unclear, you can request a definition with /what, if a description is available in the database. Before the first session, the bot asks for your age to better tune the content.

Service and ecosystem

Game history is handled on the service side, enabling long-term adaptation of the association model. Support is provided via the @AssociRuSupport account, and a web version with similar mechanics is available at associ.ru.
