Music recognition in Telegram from short audio and video clips.
Monthly active users
AudD is a Telegram bot for automatic music recognition from short audio snippets. It analyzes voice messages, audio files, and videos to identify which song is playing in the recording.
Users send the bot up to 12 seconds of music. The bot forwards this fragment to the AudD Music Recognition API and returns structured data about the track, typically including the song title and artist. Interaction happens entirely inside Telegram chats.
AudD is useful when a track is embedded in a voice message, a forwarded video, or an audio clip and there is no direct metadata. Instead of manually searching by lyrics or melody, users can submit the fragment and get an automatic match.
The bot is a client for the audd.io Music Recognition API. This API is designed for developers and services that need audio fingerprinting and song identification, while the Telegram bot provides a minimal, chat-based interface to this functionality.
