Censure Bot is a moderation tool for Telegram groups focused on filtering profanity in text messages. It monitors group chats, detects offensive language and reacts automatically, helping maintain a cleaner and more neutral communication environment.

Core functionality

The bot processes only text messages. When profanity is detected, it immediately deletes the offending message and mutes the sender. The mute duration increases with each repeated violation, starting from a short timeout and growing step by step, which discourages users from using offensive language.

Setup and control

To start, the bot must be added to a group and granted admin rights to delete messages and restrict members. Behavior and thresholds can be adjusted via the /settings command directly in the chat. Additional information is available through /faq and /stat, while /support provides a contact point for assistance. The bot is suitable for communities that need basic, automated profanity control without complex moderation workflows.
