Welcome Bot automates greeting and farewell messages in Telegram group chats. It tracks users joining or leaving and posts predefined texts, helping maintain a clear and consistent onboarding flow for members.

Key features

The bot sends automatic welcome messages to new members and optional goodbye messages when users leave. Texts are configurable via /welcome and /goodbye commands. Placeholders like $username and $title allow inserting the user’s name and the group title. Messages can use HTML formatting for links, emphasis, and structured layouts.

Access control and noise reduction

Configuration access can be restricted with /lock and /unlock, so only selected users or admins can change messages and behavior. The /quiet command reduces extra notifications, while /disable_goodbye turns off farewell messages entirely. The bot is suitable for groups that need predictable onboarding messages and minimal chat clutter.
