Song🆔 is an open-source Telegram bot for automatic music recognition. It identifies songs from short audio or video clips, working similarly to services like Shazam.
To use the bot, you send a voice message, audio file, or video (up to 20 MB) directly in the chat. Song🆔 analyzes the sound segment and matches it against a music database. The bot then returns the track title, artist name, and direct links to listen on platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, and Deezer.
The project is open-source, with code available on GitHub, which makes it easier to inspect or integrate. According to the description, uploaded media files are deleted after processing, reducing long-term data retention. Support is provided via a separate support bot. Song🆔 is focused on quick identification of music playing around you or embedded in existing media files inside Telegram.
