tube2gif is a Telegram bot that converts selected segments of YouTube videos into GIF animations. It focuses on a single task: turning video snippets into compact, loopable clips that are easy to share in chats.
You send the bot a YouTube link and use the /makegif command. The bot then guides you through choosing the exact part of the video you want to convert. After processing, it returns a GIF file that can be forwarded, saved, or reused in other conversations.
The bot is suitable for creating reaction GIFs, short meme loops, educational highlights, or visual excerpts from longer videos. It removes the need for separate desktop editors or downloading full video files. All operations happen inside Telegram through a simple, step-by-step interaction.
