Prizebot is an open source Telegram bot for running transparent prize raffles and giveaways. It uses random.org as an external randomness source, reducing the risk of manual interference and biased results.
The bot selects winners from a list of participants based on true random numbers from random.org. Organizers can define participation rules, such as mandatory subscriptions to specific channels or other eligibility criteria. Only users who meet these conditions are included in the final draw.
Prizebot’s source code is publicly available on GitHub, which allows independent verification of the selection logic and the integration with random.org. A dedicated news channel, @prizebot_feed, provides updates about new features and changes.
The bot is suitable for channel owners, communities, and projects that regularly host giveaways or contests on Telegram and need a verifiable, rule-based winner selection process without building their own tooling.
