#fomo_hash – a Telegram mini-game based on real mining mechanics using Proof-of-Work technology. The project lets you mine FOMO tokens using your device’s power, opening up opportunities to participate in the blockchain ecosystem and earn income. Much like the #NeoHash project, this game is styled in a Matrix-inspired aesthetic.
Mining FOMO
Once you connect to #fomo_hash, you’re greeted by a minimalist interface reminiscent of old-school command-line programs—simple commands, bright green text on a black background. Your first step is to choose a mode: solo mining or swarm mining.
Solo Mode:
It’s straightforward—your phone or computer works by solving cryptographic puzzles to mine blocks. This is the essence of Proof-of-Work, the core of the project.
Swarm Mode:
Here, the team spirit comes into play. Participants join forces to share the rewards. However, note that a large portion of the earnings (90%) goes to the energy providers, while the remaining 40% is distributed among the miners.
Energy Boxes
Energy is the key resource in #fomo_hash. The more energy you have, the more efficient your mining becomes. However, intensive mining quickly drains your energy and increases the load on your device’s processor. The developers honestly warn: be careful not to overheat your phone.
To maintain optimal performance, energy boxes are available. These boxes replenish your energy reserves, increase its maximum capacity, and even allow you to enable an offline mining mode if you set your smartphone aside for a while. Energy boxes can be obtained by completing tasks or purchased with in-game currency.
What is FOMO and Why Mine It
The FOMO token is the heart of the project. With a total issuance of 1 billion tokens, 132 million have already been mined at the time of writing. The primary miner receives 60% of the rewards, while the remaining 40% is distributed among participants who contributed partial solutions.
Mining difficulty gradually increases: the more users join, the harder it becomes to mine FOMO. This is a standard mechanism in most PoW systems, designed to reward early participants.
Gameplay
#fomo_hash keeps user engagement high by adding gaming elements. In the game, you can collect unique NFT items, combine them for upgrades, and sell them. For example, “rabbit boxes” are loot boxes containing unexpected rewards such as NFT fragments, energy, or rare items.
Daily tasks are another way to keep active. Players can complete simple actions like inviting friends, participating in chats, or purchasing upgrades. These tasks earn extra bonuses that help accelerate progress.
