Fuel Mining – a once popular Telegram mini-game for mining internal currency with a potential token listing. At the time of this review, the project is closed.
What Happened to Fuel Mining
The mini-game was launched in spring 2024. According to its roadmap, a listing for the $FUEL token was scheduled for September, followed by a token distribution and an NFT release by the end of the year.
The last post on the official Telegram channel is dated August 1, 2024, when the developer shared game plans. Shortly afterward, the bot was removed. The exact date and reasons remain unclear. There are speculations that the developer, having raised funds, was unable to fulfill promises or that the bot was hacked. Until the developer comes forward, the true cause remains unknown.
An unknown user took over the bot’s username and added a link to his cryptocurrency wallet. Players who transferred funds were allegedly promised higher returns. This turned out to be a scam in Fuel Mining, though it was not directly linked to the original developer.
Subsequently, access to the bot was completely closed and it remains unavailable. The Telegram channel still has an audience of 374,000 users.
Another unknown user assumed the support service’s username but acted honestly by explaining that the bot had been scammed, sharing some details, and expressing willingness to return the username to its rightful owner. Judging by the inactive channel, the developer has not come forward.
