Telegram Wallet does not appear in Menu
Telegram Wallet does not appear in the Telegram menu by default. To create a wallet, launch the official bot, accept the user agreement, and click “Start.” The wallet is then created automatically and linked to your Telegram account. After these steps, a “Wallet” button will appear in the Telegram menu. This feature works on all operating systems, but if you switch between multiple accounts, the button will only be visible in the account where the wallet was created.
How to Top Up Telegram Wallet
Bank Card
You can buy cryptocurrency with a bank card. (This option may not be available in all regions—check your account details. Fill in your information, enter the amount, and choose the cryptocurrency.)
P2P Market
The Wallet includes a built-in market where users can exchange assets directly with one another. The mini-app acts as an intermediary to help secure your funds. Always read the terms and verify the seller’s or buyer’s account when using P2P transactions.
Deposits from External Accounts
You can also top up using cryptocurrency stored in other wallets or exchanges. Choose the desired cryptocurrency, copy the wallet number for deposits, and remember the network details.
How to Withdraw from Telegram Wallet
Users can withdraw cryptocurrencies to other addresses. Withdrawal limits depend on your verification level. Direct withdrawal to a bank card is not possible. If you need fiat currencies like rubles or dollars, use the P2P Market, where sellers can convert crypto into bank transfers. Always check the exchange rate offered by users.
Verification in Telegram Wallet
Basic Level
Allows deposits up to 1,000 euros per day and 15,000 euros per month. Bank card purchases are limited to 300 euros per month. The P2P Market is available only to verified users.
Plus
To upgrade to Plus, upload a photo or scan of your ID (passport or ID card). Telegram promises to securely store your data. The Plus level increases deposit limits to 50,000 euros per day or 500,000 euros per month, with bank card purchases up to 5,000 euros, and raises the P2P Market limit to 500,000 euros per month.
Maxi
Removes all limits. To get Maxi, confirm your address with an official document. Maxi is available after achieving Plus.
