Kotobot is a Telegram game bot built around real-life cat spotting and photo sharing. It turns everyday walks into a lightweight competitive challenge: players take photos of cats and post them in a chat where the bot is an admin.

Core mechanics

Other users in the chat vote for the submitted photos. Once an image receives three votes, the author gains one point. The bot automatically tracks scores and maintains several leaderboards: daily, monthly, quarterly and global. This structure supports both short-term activity and long-term competition.

Kotobot is designed for group chats and communities that want a simple, low-barrier game based on user-generated content. Chat owners can configure the bot’s behaviour to match their rules and interaction style. All activity happens inside Telegram, without external registration.
