Money Bot is a lightweight currency converter that works directly inside Telegram chats. It focuses on a simple rule: all amounts in Russian Rubles (₽) are converted to US Dollars ($), and any other currencies are converted back into Rubles. This is useful in international conversations where participants think in different currencies but need a common reference.

Core functionality

The bot parses messages, detects amounts with currency symbols or codes, and returns a converted value. Ruble amounts are shown with their USD equivalent, while prices in other currencies are normalized to RUB. This helps participants quickly understand real costs without switching to external apps or doing manual calculations.

Privacy approach

According to the developer, the bot does not collect or store user data. There are no message logs or stored histories of conversions, only on-the-fly processing. This makes Money Bot suitable for everyday use in private and group chats where financial topics and privacy often intersect.
