Whiskeymeter is a Telegram bot that turns virtual whiskey drinking into a simple competitive game for group chats. It does not deal with real alcohol and works only as a text-based scoring mechanic.
Core mechanics
Once per hour, users can send the /whiskey command to take a virtual sip. Each sip adds to a personal counter, allowing participants to compare progress and compete for informal “whiskey expert” status.
Profiles and stats
The /me command shows a personal profile with basic stats. With /stats, group members can view chat-wide activity. Commands /top and /chat provide leaderboards, both global and limited to the current chat, which helps structure the competition.
For group use
The bot is designed primarily for group conversations and social activity. It adds a lightweight game layer on top of everyday chat. Command /help lists available features, and the @WhiskeyUse channel publishes updates and news about the project.
